Erling Haaland scores a brace against Manchester United as Onana prepares for Backlash
Manchester City’s super player, Erling Haaland, has scored a brace for Manchester City against Manchester United, amid United’s scamper to muster a respectable number of points.
Fans at Old Trafford were more offended by the second goal, which would not have happened if the players had not left Erling Haaland hanging around the keeper’s left side of the box undisturbed before the well-placed crossing came to Haaland and was finished by a good header.
Audrey Onana shined substantially in United’s most recent match, which saw them beat Copenhagen by one goal to none. The keeper stopped a penalty kick in the match, which was preceded by a memorial for Manchester United’s deceased icon, Sir Charlton.
There were a few jokes going into the match saying that both Onana and Harry Maguire, Manchester United’s two flops, should prove their comeback against a stronger club. As things stand, it seems Onana failed to live up to expectations as Manchester City’s ace reduced the club’s chances of climbing out fast from the ever-deepening dungeon in which they found themselves on the points chart.
Phil Foden added the last nail to Manchester United’s coffin at the 49th minute, making the final tally 0-3 at Old Trafford.
