Oleksandr Usyk replies to Tyson Fury’s rant
Lineal heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk replied to Tyson Fury’s insults at him and former Crystal Palace owner, Simon Jordan.
While speaking to The Guardian, the Ukrainian undefeated champion publicised what he thought of the insults and how he dealt with them. Tyson Fury will face Usyk next year in the Undisputed World Heavyweight Championship title bout.
The root of Fury’s insult was Jordan’s criticisms against Tyson Fury following Fury’s finding fault with the rematch clause in the fight contract after standing to get 70% of the money to be shared between him and Usyk after the bout.
Usyk said, ‘Maybe Tyson Fury wants to insult me in such a way, by saying different inappropriate things about me.
‘But look, for a guy who was raised in a village with Usyk [meaning little moustache] as a last name and with a gap between my front teeth, I heard so many insults about myself that at some point I started flipping them over and making them my achievements.’
WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury’s exact words were, ‘I can’t wait, I’m in the best shape of my life, I’m fucking ready to rock and troll, I wish it was this weekend.
‘Usyk you gappy-teeth, ugly, bug-eyed, rabbit, cat, ugly piece of s***, you are getting knocked the f*** out. And to all the haters out there a massive f*** you because I’m getting 70% of the undisputed heavyweight championship.
‘Simon Jordan you’re a little b****, no wonder you lost £100 million b****, wrong business you little sausage.’
One of the unfortunate things about Fury’s scalding social media post was that he had tagged another person called Simon Cowell instead of Jordan as the bulls eye of the attack.
Simon Jordan was not as gentle as Usyk while replying to the insult.
‘He’s a wally, isn’t he? Never mind ‘Gypsy King’, he’s the gormless king, he tagged Simon Cowell, he’s feeble-minded sometimes,’ retaliated Jordan. The bottom line is, he’s right, he maintained his position and got 70/30, he’s right, I did lose a bunch of money, but he’s a bit of a berk, isn’t he?
‘The fact of the matter is we’ve done nothing but champion him forever and a day to the point where we get called Fury fans left, right and centre.
‘Then he gets one little bit of criticism and he gets all feeble-minded, weak and offended by it. Good. Keep the noise up Tyson because we want you in the ring with Oleksandr Usyk.’
