Kash Ali sends scary message to Joe Joyce ahead of their fight tonight
IBF European heavyweight champion Kash Ali sent a fear-inducing message to his would-be opponent Joe Joyce ahead of their bout tonight at Birmingham.
Former WBO interim heavyweight champion Joyce is yet to find his way to the top once more following a double loss to China’s Zheilei Zhang. ‘Juggernaut’ was undefeated before the disastrous fall in value.
Having chosen a return opponent in the person of Kash Ali, the pugilist is expected to prove doubters wrong at the UK tonight. But the man he must get through had a scary message for him while speaking to Queensberry Promotions.
‘That is exactly what I plan and intend to do [end Joyce’s career]. People are writing me off but I am not concerned about that,’ said Ali.
‘The pressure is on him, he is fighting me, I am the underdog or that is what most people think anyway, if he loses to me it’s over.
‘He has had his fair share of good wins, he has had his big paydays, he can put his feet up and relax.
‘It’s the end for him and the start of my career really, even though I have been pro for a long time, this is the start for me.’
The match can be watched on TNT Sports.
