“Ladies don’t date a jobless man” Nollywood veteran, William Uchemba advises women

Nollywood veteran, William Uchemba has taken to his Instagram handle to address his view of men’s capability.

In a video that has gone viral, he outlined that a man is built to provide for and protect his family.

Backing his claim, he urged ladies to deter from men who can’t own their responsibilities and remain unbothered being jobless.

He made references to the Bible where he summarised that God himself naturally created men to embody all responsibilities while women are just meant to support their men.

‘’There is something in a man, some call it ego. There is something that God has put in a man to provide. A man is built to not just protect but provide.

“Ladies, if you are dating someone that is comfortable with being jobless because you have a good job, Run. It is a red flag because when God created Adam, the first thing God gave him was a job and when the job was too much, God said it is not good for this man to be alone. Let us give him a helper.”

“One of the primary purpose of a wife is to help, to support what the man is doing, not to be breadwinner or a provider.”

Some Nigerian men were not pleased with him and criticised him massively via all the social media platforms.
