‘Fuel’ price to reduce as Dangote’s newly completed N20B refinery begins petrol production

Dangote‘s refinery has commenced its production of diesel and aviation Fuel after completing the massive project.

Also, they are yet to produce petroleum products identified popularly as petrol.

Anthony Chiejina, the Chief Branding and Communication Officer of Dangote Group on Friday announced the conception of operation in the firm.

On Saturday, the Dangote Group confirmed that the commencement of the firm and production of Fuel has been unveiled as they hope to dive deep into their goals.

The chairman of the Dangote Group recently gratified the president of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his profound support since deploying his fate in him.

He also expressed gratitude to Nigerian Petroleum Company Limited where he also gratified the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission, Nigerian Mainstream and Downstream regulatory authority and Nigerian civilians for supporting and believing in what they identified as a ‘Historic Project’.

“We thank President Bola Tinubu for his support and for making our dream come true. This production, as witnessed today, would not have been possible without his visionary leadership and prompt attention to details”

“His intervention at various stages cleared all impediments thereby accelerating the actualisation of the project. We also thank the NNPC, NUPRC and NMDPRA  for their support. These organisations have been our dependable partners in this historic journey.”

“We also thank Nigerians for their belief and support in this project. We have started the production of diesel and aviation fuel, and the products will be in the market within this month once we receive regulatory approvals.”

“This is a big day for Nigeria. We are delighted to have reached this significant milestone. This is an important achievement for our country as it demonstrates our ability to develop and deliver large capital projects. This is a game changer for our country, and I am very fulfilled with the actualisation of this project.”

The refinery is conformed to cover a capacity of 650,000 barrels of Crude oil per day.

They aim to reduce the importation and price of petrol by mass production.
