A lethally strong medication called fentanyl is used to relieve really bad pain. It is frequently used before, during, or after surgery, a severe accident, or cancer discomfort.

Floyd passed away on May 25, 2020, when Derek Chauvin, a US cop, tried to arrest him by pinning him to the ground and kneeling on his neck.

When Floyd begged for help, the footage of the event went viral and triggered large-scale demonstrations both inside and outside of the United States.

Later, an autopsy determined that Floyd’s neck pressure was the primary factor in his demise.

The Black Lives Matter movement, which was at the forefront of the rallies, denounced instances of police violence against black Americans.

Chauvin received a 22-year prison term in June 2021 after being found guilty of killing Floyd.

On the Drink Champs podcast, which debuted on Saturday, Kenye West discussed the incident and said Chauvin’s knee “wasn’t even on his neck like that.”

“I watched the George Floyd documentary and one of the things that his two roommates said is ‘they want a guy like me’. On the day he died, he said prayers for eight minutes. They hit him with fentanyl. If you look, the guy’s knee wasn’t even on his neck like that…,” he said.

The rapper, known as Ye, has been in the news in recent times for controversial reasons.

He earlier had a heated face-off with Diddy after he called the Black Lives Matter campaign a “scam” and backed the White Lives Matter slogan.
