Crawford versus Tszyu: Super Welterweight champion speaks

WBO super welterweight champion Tim Tszyu is in the path of Terence Crawford who intends to become a champion at that division.

Crawford is preparing to climb up the ladder and fight Tszyu who is looking to defend his title for the second time. Both being WBO titleholders, Crawford had the permission to activate the WBO ‘super champion’ status which immediately made one a mandatory challenger to the next-higher WBO titleholder.
In a conversation with Fight Hub TV, Tszyu said the following on the new development:
‘There is big fights to be made, Terence Crawford is on the list. Of course [I want that fight], that is greatness right there, pound-for-pound type status.
‘We will see what the future plans but I have got one big task ahead of me right now and I am solely focussed on that.
‘I am easy to make things happen, very simple. It’s not my side making trouble, we can make it happen.’
The fight will be interesting, since this would not be the first or second time Crawford had used his WBO rights to get higher-division fights.
