Famous boxing trainer made a worrisome prediction concerning who will win the coming match between Anthony Joshua and Otto Wallin.

In a video recorded by The Fight, Atlas gave a sort of prediction that is scary in the sense that it implied that boxing judges cannot be trusted.

The European duo will lock horns on December 23 at a loaded event where fighters like Deontay Wilder, Bivol, and Dubois would compete.

Atlas said, ‘I’m gonna go with a real wild pick here. I’m gonna go with Wallin as a huge upset.

‘I know I that I should pick Joshua, that’s the easier pick.

‘I know if both men are standing at the end of the fight then Joshua gets it whether he deserves it or not. I know that there’s also a risk that Joshua can knock out Wallin.

‘Joshua is the bigger punch here, he might land a nice concise counterpunch which he has the ability to do and knock out Wallin.

‘But I’m going to take a shot here and go with Wallin winning a decision at the end of the day.

‘It’s either going to be that or Joshua winning a controversial decision, getting a gift.’

George Groves, a former WBA Super-Middleweight Champion, said it would be better for Joshua to win.

‘Joshua, I think is going to have to land something heavy on him and hurt him,’ began Groves. ‘He doesn’t want Wallin to try and nick rounds and run away with it, but Joshua is a big guy, when he steps into range and he’s switched on, he lands and he hurts people.

‘I wouldn’t be surprised if he gets rid of Wallin. If he does, that’s great, because it sets up whatever comes next.’

However, though some fans would prefer both Joshua and Wilder to beat their opponents, since such can bring closer the possibility of seeing fighting next year, Joshua could choose a different path.

The IBF heavyweight title is likely to be vacated in the wake of the undisputed world heavyweight championship bout between Tyson Fury and Oleksander Usyk.

The number one contender for that title is Filip Hrgovic, while Joshua would have the right to contend with Hrgovic for the belt.

Fury and Usyk will fight on February 17.
