Former WBA, WBO, and IBF heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua is yet to return to the top spot after losing his titles to Ukraine’s Oleksandr Usyk in a two-fight bout. However, the Brit has accumulated a two-long win streak since then as he navigates his way back to the throne.

A light of hope arose for Joshua in the circumstances surrounding the undisputed world heavyweight bout that will be held between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk on February 17. The rematch clause added to the agreement between the two champions could bring about the victor’s being stripped of one of the belts.

But before Joshua meets the person in line for the title, he has to face Otto Wallin in a match that reportedly can be repeated if the defeated wants.

Matchroom promoter Eddie Hearn, who now promotes Joshua, along with Frank Warren, recently said there was a rematch clause in the agreement signed between Wallin and Joshua. This means that Joshua might be found standing between obligations to meet Filip Hrgovic or to have a rematch with Otto Wallin. If Joshua loses to Otto wallin after winning the belt, he would lose the new title at the same time.

According to Joshua’s team, the young Brit wants to be a world champion for the third time. Whether he will is yet to be seen through his coming bot with Otto Wallin.
