Lingard was formerly working with Nottingham Forest before leaving for Korea for new challenges in February.

Football coach Kim Gi-Dong seems to have lost the desire to keep from criticizing the former Manchester United player in public.

Speaking to the media, FC Seoul boss Gi-Dong said the following about the 31-year old:

‘I’ve been thinking a lot about removing Jesse (Lingard). I don’t think a player who doesn’t run for a few minutes is a football player.

‘If he doesn’t fight, and doesn’t run better than the player who runs for 90 minutes?

‘If you’re going to play soccer in the name, shouldn’t you just take the retired players?’

Lingard now has a new reason to stay out of the pitch after hurting his Meniscus. The coach criticized the player once, saying that ‘Even though he came on as a substitute, he didn’t work hard and avoided tussle.’

He added: ‘The name value has no meaning on the pitch. I will tell him this exactly.’
