Mohamed Salah helped Liverpool climb higher on the premier League chart today, two days after Liverpool turned down Al Ittihad’s £150m offer.

This was the third and last goal of the match between Liverpool and Aston Villa at Liverpool’s home. A source allegedly told sky sports that the Saudi giants have not given up; instead, that they intend to return with a £200m offer soon.

There is likely an amount of money the Premier League team would not reject, and a plethora of people think the rumoured, additional £50m would make the British giants change their minds about the 30-something years old player.

It is a verified fact that thirty years is middle age in the European football world. The likes of Christiano Ronaldo and Ibrahimovich who continued to place through their middle thirties did not find it easy; none has ever found it easy to do so in Europe.

If CR7 was rejected by his beloved Manchester United, whom the Saudi princes at Al Nassr were willing to pay a lot for, who cannot be rejected? Old age comes to everyone, and even Liverpool would be unwilling to pay anything to Mohamed Salah when his exploits in the field recede to a certain level.

Would it be hard to imagine he could leave Liverpool this season? Souness believes it is not.
