Paul Pogba Doping Saga: ‘We are waiting for the counter analysis,’ says agent

Amid former Manchester United player, Paul Pogba’s ban following accusations of doping, his agent Rafaela Pimienta gave an official statement on the situation recently. This happened simultaneously with netizens from the West expressing their unfavourable views of the player.

‘We are waiting for the counter analysis and until then we can’t say anything, said super agent, Rafaela Pimienta, who also represents Erling Haaland. ‘The certain thing is that Paul Pogba never wanted to break the rules.’

After Pogba’s ban from playing football till the counter analysis is presented to the the appropriate bodies, the player has been a subject of many tales of misfortunes. From his sour parting with Manchester United to his days of incessant injuries at Juventus, and from the threat of armed extortioners to the dangerous blackmail by his elder brother, the story keeps expanding.

All this troubles started by his transfer to Italy to play for his former club, Juventus.

His said brother once dropped a blackmailing video online, threatening to expose many things Pogba would have liked to remain secrets.

‘The French, Italian, English and Spanish public deserve to know certain things. Basically, the whole world, including my brother’s fans, France, Juventus and his sponsors, they need to have the information and take an informed decision on whether he deserves respect and love from the fans; if he deserves to play for Juventus and a place in the France World Cup squad,’ his elder brother was saying in the video.

‘I want to open the eyes on the so-called most powerful woman in football [Pimienta], ‘ he continued. ‘Who my brother calls his second mum. I think that what I’ll say will concern many people. I’ll say important things about Kylian Mbappe. Many elements and witnesses confirm what I’ll say. It could be explosive.’

All these troubled Pogba deeply, as revealed in his emotional statement.

‘When there is money you have to be careful,’ said Pogba. ‘Money changes people. It can break up a family. It can create a war. Sometimes I was just by myself thinking: ‘I don’t want to have money anymore.

I just don’t want to play anymore. I just want to be with normal people, so they will love me for me – not for the fame, not for the money. Sometimes it’s tough. This life, you have to go through it. It will only make me stronger.’

If Paul Pogba is proved guilty, he stands to lose two to four years. A length of time that could remove him entirely from the sport.
