Playing a vital role in ending Bayer Leverkusen’s 120 years of title draught, Victor Boniface has raised a high bar as he recalls his tough beginning.

On Sunday, Victor Boniface found his way into the scoresheet of an incredible 5 – 0 victory against Werder after converting a penalty to open up the goal flow that secured the Bayer Leverkusen league title in 120 years.

Days after celebrating wild and recovering, the Super Eagles forward pulled fans back to his beginning by sharing a throwback photograph of him looking quite different.

In the photograph that has gone viral, young Boniface was looking all tattered and poor while also rocking two different oversized boots.

Captioning his view, he urged young dreamers not to give up on their dreams.
