This reply shed more light into the retired boxer’s personality and his belief in his student, Francis Ngannou’s abilities.

A battle of words nearly started between Tyson and Fury, after the former accepted the job of training Fury’s next opponent.

This trainee is a former-UFC champion trying to change the scene of his competition to the boxing ring, after growing highly-dissatisfied with the payment fighters there received.

In this coming fight, Ngannou stands to earn more than he has in all his UFC career, even though a champion and the best presently.

Following the video of Mike Tyson training the former-UFC superstar on boxing techniques, Tyson Fury was so unhppy that he could not help lashing out at Tyson. He boasted it was sad that a man he was named after would face him in a contest and lose. speaking further, he claimed Mike Tyson had chosen the side that would lose.

But if Tyson Fury had stopped there, it would have been just a common statement. When he proceeded to insinuate that Mike Tyson was jealous of his title-defense streak, he ended up accusing the legend, and declaring he was a better man to an extent.

This made both fans, pundits and journalists hold their breaths in expectance of Mike Tyson’s reply. If the reply had came as a naked fist, Mike Tyson would have been seen making a very unfavourable scene with a small boy like Fury.

What Mike Tyson replied could be viewed as a punch, a placation, or something else.

All Mike Tyson replied was, ‘This is business, and he understands.’

Now this could mean that Mike Tyson was not reached out to by Fury’s team for his input, and that Mike Tyson should not turn down job opportunities because of the complicatedness of the situation. A sort of accusation that could go like, ‘You don’t want me. Someone else does!’

On the matter of Ngannou’s performance in the ring, all the legend had to say was, ‘I think he’s gonna do very well. Listen, it’s all experience, he’s fighting, he just has to remember not to use his feet, which he never really did actually. He’s a real power puncher.

‘Real fast for a big guy, 260. I just think he’s gonna do better than most people believe.’

We could only hope that Ngannou does not forget himself on October 28, and land a damaging kick on boxing champion, Tyson Fury.
