Erik Ten Hag’s Premier League break plans for returning players
Manchester United coach Erik Ten Hag spoke shortly on his plans for players returning from injury as the Premier League break begins.
The Dutchman has had a very unsavoury season so far, but is still trying to prove his worth in the Premier League race.
Speaking recently to Manchester United, the coach said the following concerning the two sets of players under his watch:
‘There are players just returning who need training. They need hard work to get fitter and to get closer to the team.
‘But there are others who played so many games in 2023 who need a break. They need some refreshment and energy.
‘Next week we come together and from that point on we have to go from game to game, from battle to battle, get energy and have the right attitude, as today, and see where we end.’
Recall that Ten Hag complained in 2023 that the frequency of the matches his team was playing helped to increase their underwhelming performances.
