Mikel Arteta terms Manchester City ‘unbelievable’ amid post-match reactions
Arsenal gaffer Mikel Arteta called Manchester City ‘a team that is unbelievable’ after a 180-minute match at the Etihad Stadium, Manchester.
City who were both the hosts and Premier League defending champions during the game were held to a hard-earned draw (0-0) during the very interesting game.
Speaking post-match to the media, Arteta mentioned it was a tough meeting.
‘It was a really tough, really close match against a team that is unbelievable. I think the boys competed really, really well. We were really disciplined and patient with when we had to be.
‘The upside was that we had some big chances, some big situations that we didn’t convert and the fact that we lacked a little bit of composure, especially with the ball in the first phase to play more, to have more, to be more courageous to play but credit to them because they make your life difficult.’
According to the London gaffer, his own players were dissatisfied with the outcome of the match. He also added that next up for the Gunners was a home meeting with Luton Town.
