Chelsea defender speaks against complacency following Fulham victory

Chelsea defender Axel Disasi who helped in the Blues’ 1-0 victory over Fulham recently spoke against complacency.

The black Frenchman also went further to reveal how he is being treated at the London club.

Speaking to Chelsea’s press, Disasi shared his view on what Chelsea should do in the wake of their Premier League home win against Fulham.

‘We have to go step by step,’ he said. ‘It was a big win for us but we have to keep going, doing what we’re doing, and stick together and not think about where that puts us in the table.

‘Everything is good but we have to improve our game, to work again to gain more places in the table.

‘We can see that game by game, we improve, but we have to keep going like this.

‘Just because maybe for five games we did good, except the game in the cup, it’s not that we can say everything is good now.

‘We have to keep going in this way tomorrow to improve and I think if everything sticks together we will be great.’

Mauricio Pochettino has a mammoth task of bonding players from different angles who joined the Londoners last summer.

Disasi said that he was happy at the new team.

‘Since I’ve been here I’ve felt good,’ he said. ‘It’s a new team and all my team-mates help me every day to be more comfortable. I’m happy to be here.

‘It’s true that we are not in the position that we want, but if we keep the same mentality that we showed on Saturday then I think at the end of the championship it can be good.

‘I was ready to play here because it was something that I really wanted, so before I came here I trained a lot to be ready.

‘I think that every opponent, every team, they are strong. It’s the best league in the world here, every team is competitive, so every game is a fight.’
