Levi Colwill speaks on building Chelsea team
Chelsea player Levi Colwill spoke about what is happening behind the scenes in regard to building the club’s team.
Colwill was speaking to Chelsea’s press in an interview recently when he said the part he plays in the process.
‘I’ve come out of my shell a lot more this season,’ he said. ‘Last season, I was a lot quieter, but this season, with a group of players similar in age, and new boys coming in, I’ve tried to help everyone as much as I can and put an arm around them.
‘I think people have seen that in the changing room. I am here to help and any knowledge I can pass on I will. There are a few leaders in the changing room and we’ve got to help as much as we can.’
Levi Colwill is an English professional footballer who plays as a centre back for Chelsea and the England national team.
The twenty-one year old was born in Southampton, United Kingdom. Levi joined Chelsea in 2022 and is currently wearing the number 26 jersey. He has also represented the England national under-21 football team.
‘There have been a lot of ups and downs this season,’ he continued. ‘We’re learning a lot as a young team, which is important for the future. But we are improving, you can feel that around the building.
‘It’s a group of new players that have never played with each other before. We need to adapt and understand everyone’s attributes and build from there. We’re improving and that is the main thing.’
