Manchester United teammates ask Jadon Sancho ‘apologise to Erik Ten Hag’, amid social-media post row
Both Jadon Sancho and Erik Ten Hag have decided to settle their differences the hard way, with Ten Hag banning Sancho from all first team facilities, and Sancho refusing to say he was sorry for his counter-defamatory social media post.
The row between the duo commenced with Erik Ten Hag’s adverse post-match interview, where Ten Hag alleged that why Jadon Sancho was not in the team of players that played that day was because of his bad performance during the training session. Later reports revealed that the player’s lateness to training has been a problem in the training grounds, and that Ten Hag could deal with the player’s misbehaviours no longer, after Jadon Sancho posted a short message that claimed Erik Ten Hag had lied at the interview.
Jadon Sancho is a costly player from Borussia Dortmund, whose services had been purchased for not less than £73m. As the row continues the bring more punishment on Sancho, with coach Ten Hag banning him from all the facilities belonging to the first team, the player would continue to receive his full salary and train with the academy team.
Sancho’s post claimed that he would continue to fight for Manchester United, no matter what.
‘Please don’t believe everything you read!’ Sancho had posted on social media. ‘I will not allow people saying things that is completely untrue. I have conducted myself in training very well this week. I believe there are other reasons for this matter that I won’t go into, I have been a scapegoat for a long time which isn’t fair!
