Napoli striker Victor Osimhen received the Globe Soccer Award for Emerging Player of the Year 2022 yesterday.

The Nigeria international was unable to attend the Globe Soccer Awards ceremony on November 17th, 2022, at the Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai, so a special celebration was organized at the Napoli training facility instead.
Cristiano Giuntoli, Napoli’s sporting director, was on hand to help hand over the prize to Victor Osimhen.
This season, the 24-year-old has been in fantastic form for Napoli, recording 11 goals and three assists in just 16 outings between Serie A and the Champions League.
“Just Received The @Globe Soccer Award For The Power Horse Emerging Player Of The Year,Thank You For The Recognition,And To Those That Have Been Supporting Me Through The Years,I Appreciate Y’all,” tweeted the former Lille of France attacker, who beat Gavi and Valverde to win the accolade. “The Greatest Is GOD.”
